Viscose (also called rayon) is a semi-synthetic fiber made from plant cellulose — typically wood pulp — processed into a silky, lightweight yarn. It's significantly softer and cooler than polyester, and breathes more like natural fiber. A mid-weight viscose tee (200 gm²+) is not see-through.
